Hey everyone,
What a great few weeks it has been! I have been busy since September started and it is not slowing down until the end of the month. I have been tired but I am walking into the rooms I have dreamed and prayed for. Life is always a lesson and we can never stop learning.
I had my first book signing this month and it was amazing. To see a room full of people who I have touched and supporting me warmed my heart more than I excepted. Thank you for all the support.
This past weekend I stepped out my comfort zone and went to my first big writing conference. The conference left me with a lot of knowledge and ways I can grow. One of the biggest takeaways was, do whatever you want to do scared. I tend to let my anxiety win, but its the very thing holding me back. Community is more than just seeing people; it is about helping build each other up to grow and flourish in all the dreams we have.
Currently I am building my author community and it is rewarding to know I can be a source of help and important to my community. While writing my book I did not think of the community that would follow it. But watching it grow makes my anxiety a little high but it is a beautiful thing to watch. We can suffer doing everything alone but with community we can thrive and reach new heights. Go find or create your community!
